Eric was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma on June 16, 1980.  He has been married to Amber Higgins Cotton since 2003.  Amber teaches horse riding lessons to disadvantaged and at risk youth for Angel Fire Equestrian Center, Inc. and raises their daughter, Kaitlyn.

Eric joined Collins, Zorn, & Wagner in 2007.
